Razr v3c screen of death?

I have a Verizon Special Edition Pink RAZR v3c. I've flashed it to Alltel. Everything's been working fine until recently. Lately the camera has been having issues, like sometimes it says its unable to open it. Sometimes it just locks up for a few seconds. And now it's got this new game of when I turn it on, the screen shows a random mess of colours ranging from white to black and every color in-between. Eventually the phone does boot to normal view, but it's still very unsettling. As far as I know it hasn't suffered any abuse or falls or anything of that nature as I try to take very good care of it. Also, I have recently tried to get some pictures off it using P2K Commander and it absolutely refuses to allow me to search it. It says "1 filenames loaded in 1922 milliseconds." and then nothing. I've used p2k commander hundreds of times to get photos from my phone and to put music on it and the likes, but now it refuses. I've tried the USB Init bootloader approach and that fails as well.
I don't know what I'm asking other than how can I possibly fix some of the problems? I'm not eligible for the NE2 for a very long time. Verizon says not eligible until 1/23/08, so I assume that means I added the RAZR on 1/23/06, so it's still under 1 year old. Do you think I could possibly get it replaced under warranty?
Thanks
-Jake
P.S. I realize they're not going to replace it for the file transfer purpose, and I may even somehow have to revert it back to Verizon firmware before taking it back. But for the camera functionality problem, would it maybe be feasible? Maybe the firmware is just messed up and I should try flashing it again? It's been fine up until recently and I flashed it just a month or two after I got the phone, so it seems weird.

We see quite a few issues with firmware flashes not matched to the flex files (Alltel firmware on a Verizon handset). Portions of the software are not compatible and can cause issues down the road. Many people will say there is no issue with this, but 5+ years of handset modding and flashing tells me otherwise.
You can try to reflash with the VZ firmware, but a full monster flash may be in order.

You no longer have the ability to use the waranty. You lost the priviledge when you flashed your phone. As Black Cat mentioned, you can try and flash it back to a Verizon firmware and hope for the best. I have actually seen this occurance several times in several different types of phones and i have always fixed them by taking the camera out (unhook the flex cable), wipe contacts and re-insert. Good luck.

I did as Black Cat suggested and all is well. I master cleared/reset, so I lost all my pix and flix, music, txts, etc, which is ok since I have all the pix, flix, and music saved on my computer already. I did, however, backup my phonebook so no loss there.
Thanks for your help!
