Does anyone have the following problem:

@ times, in IE when I go to web pages (from favorites or address bar), it will load a blank screen. The bottom bar will say "locating" and "opening", but only a blank screen appears and the desired address is up on the top left of the screen. If i power cycle the phone, it resolves the problem. Obviously, it is not always fun or convenient to power cycle, although it does fix the problem. just wondering if anyone may have some insight on this.

Goto your internet connections and see if you if it is set to 'WAP' or 'The Internet".

I was having that issue but I switched it to 'The Intenet' & I havent had that problem since. I dont know if that fixes anything, but it works better and I dont have that problem anymore.

Do you always keep your phone on? Do you turn it off at night or keep it on as you charge?

it does happen to me occasionally. instead of power cycling, from the home screen move down so that the part with "cingular" on it is highlighted and select. then hit menu and "disconnect cellular data" then just start up ie again. its worked for me every time.

Thanks guys. I was on "WAP network". I'll switch to "The Internet" for a while. Usually I keep it on all the time, even as I charge. If it occurs again I'll be sure to try the second rec to "disconnect cellular data".

Anyone know if it matters if you connect to "WAP" or "Internet"?

Yeah it does it to me also. I usually just turn the phone on and off, but thats only because I don't use IE that much.
