Motorola Razr Miami Ink phones in Canada?

I am tattoo lover and totally fell in love with the Moto Razr phones available in the U.S. and sold by T-Mobile featuring designs by Miami Ink's Ami James (especially the black with the dragon). I was just wondering if anyone out there had a clue if there are plans to release the phones in Canada?!? If not, is there a way to buy a "Miami Ink" Moto and use it up here with one of our carriers?

I don't know about selling then in Canada but they have them on Ebay. That might be an option? Your probably going to have to get it unlocked though.

Right...I could buy one on Ebay if the phones are not (and will never) be available in Canada. My question concerning that is; will a "Canadian" carrier give me service for that phone (basically would it be compatible with our Canadian mobility networks?)?

If you get one unlocked then yes.

Unlocked? Sorry for my ignorance but, how is that done? And, most importantly, if someone claims it is, how do I tell??? Sorry, I'm kinda "clueless" when it comes to those things............

You need to be with Rogers or Fido since only they have GSM network in Canada. You just put SIM card into the phone then you can use that phone.
