V3c RAZR side button fix

Quickly: bought RAZR V3c on eBay to hack and make work like it should have in the first place. Hacking was completely successful; phone was awesome -- except:

The Speakphone button didn't work well -- you had to push way too hard, and even then it didn't always work.

So I did what any sensible geek would do and took it apart. I'm sorry I don't have pictures of the button; it's so small, even a macro setting on a camera wouldn't catch this properly.

The button itself if barely one at all: just a bubble of metal above a pcb laminated together.

Using a tiny screwdriver, I separated the top laminant from the pcb, making a tiny gap on one side. The metal button stayed attached to the laminant, allowing access to the exposed metal on the pcb.

With the screwdriver, I could activate the button, contacting both the button and the pcb, so there was no problem with the pcb itself.

I used the screwdriver to clean the underside of the button and the metal contact on the pcb, since there was no other obvious cause of the problem.

The button now works perfectly. I suspect that the glue used to attach the laminant to the pcb moved over time and put a thin layer over the metal contact inside the button.

So, if your buttons are not working properly, and you're feeling adventurous...
