Hi i forgot my password when i start my phone. and now i cant access it. is there a way to reset the phone?

If its like most Blackberrys after 10 incorrect attempts it will do a hard reset and erase everything.

if somebody found a blackberry, unless they stole it from somebody to get the information out of it, why would they care if they erased everything, in fact, that would probably be the best thing, because then there would be no way to distinguish it.

He may not be aware of what happens after 10 attempts. If it was stolen it was probably stolen from a cingular store.
