So I've been using MLS for a while on my Blackjack and love it. However I have a BT GPS that I would like to use with it. Since MLS does not automatically search for the GPS com port, I cannot seem to get it to find my GPS manually. Has anyone had any luck?

I set up my BT-359 to com 7 and it finds it fine

I bought the BT-359 to try with Telenav and my Cingular 3125 and every time I try the GPS mapping function, it just puts the arrow up on the screen and the whole background is blue (as if the GPS thinks I'm in Lake Michigan

I know the GPS works, as it works fine with Telenav. I've tried it via different COM ports on the 3125 and Live still doesn't like it....but then again, Live is beta, so what do I expect.

Anyone gotten a BT-359 and Cingular 3125 to work with the GPS functions in Live Search???

I have a Cingular 3125 and the BT-359 setup as COM 6, and they both work fine with the GPS functions of Windows Live Search. I have also used my BT-359 wth the GPS functions of map4pda.com which allows users to search MLS listings.

Gotten the BT-359 ,my 3125 and WLS to work just perfectly now...had to "monkey" around with the COM ports a little

After trying this and Telenav...I can say that WLS does about 90% of what Telenav does...the exception being that Telenav does voice prompts (which I kind of found irritating anyway) I just want to see where I'm at...and WLS fits the bill.

Both have the downside of needing network access...so in my opinion...free beats $10 per month, especially WITH that limitation.

I had no problem with the BT-359 on my Blackjack, using WLS, i was using Com 4.
