i've read a few threads about this but haven't found a solution. but i tried to update my sda to the new sp5m rom from the club imate website but it froze in the middle of the update and i took the battery out. now my phone won't turn on. i take the battery out and put it back in, press the power button and the red light flashes onece and that's it, the screen is still blank. i've tried a hard reset and all the other tricks including holding the camera button and then plugging in the usb and a couple other tricks that i've read about. i can't run the bootloader again because my computer can't detect the phone. not sure if i've completely killed my phone, but if anyone has ever come across this problem and have found a solution, i would great appreciate the help. thanks.

is there A WINDOWS mobile 5 rom for the smt5600 is this the same phone you are talking about. as far as your problem goes i think you bricked your phone sir. the only thing you can try now would be to re flash it with the original rom

i think there is a windows mobile 5 rom for the smt5600, just google it and i'm sure you'll find it. and i wish i can reflash it with the original phone, but i don't even know how to get it to turn on again so i can try to flash the rom.
