I am trying to de-brand a SE K790a from Rogers so I can use MP3's as ringtones and no the DRM Packager doesn't work for me. It works fine on my SE W300 but not on the K790a.

Since wotanserver doesn't have the latest firmware R1EG001 with Generic USA[America_1] language, but has the older firmware R1ED001 with Generic USA [America_1]. Could I flash my phone with the older firmware and then update the software using SE US update software?

As for some people saying that this phone can't be unlocked, GSM Liberty is offering the unlocking of this phone, haven't tried my self yet though.

ya tried gsmliberty...they cant unlock as of yet...
