How do you Text on the HTC Artemis/O2 XDA Orbit?

I'm seriously looking at buying the XDA Orbit/HTC Artemis as I love the small form factor and having GPS built in is the killer app.

However, as I text more than I phone, I'm interested in how you text with it. I've seen the screenshots of the phone dialler which mimics a traditional phone-pad, but not how you send SMS/MMS. I want to do this one-handed so I am hoping it uses the same method as the dialler (ie mimicking a traditional ponepad & using predictive text).

The last thing I want to do is have to take out the stylus and have to use the phone two-handed to write on the screen (or tap a full Qwerty keypad).

If this phone can't be used one-handed it could be a deal breaker

it's all touch screen. like you said, you could use t9 with a dialler, but it isn't as easy as with real buttons. otherwise you'll need two hands. something with a keyboard would be a lot better if you text a lot.
