k1 Problems

Bought an unlocked K1 about 2 weeks ago. Now from time to time the screen on front cover will be blank (but still lite). When I open the phone the main screen turns white, and then it appears to reboot itself. If I don't open the phone and let the front screen remain blank, the phone will not function fully (ie alarm will not go on)
Similar problem relates to when I am recharging phone via USB. During recharge the phone will also reboot itself from time to time (no white screen though) thus disrupting the charge.
Final problem is that the battery life is short. I have to charge it everyday even though I talk for about 40mins a day and I do fully charge the phone.
Anybody else having this problem or know how I can fix this problem?

I'm no expert, but I'd say return/replace it if you still can.
I got a bad K1 my first time around and had to replace it. I wonder if QC is going down at Moto?
