I would like to reorganize the Start Menu icons on the Blackjack into new groups, take some out of the base level, bring some to the base level.

In ActiveSynce I clicked "Explore Device" and found the /Windows/Start Menu, but when I try to copy or paste anything I get an error about permissions.

Anyone else seen this? Anyway to work around it? Other ways to modify the start menu icons?

You need to download a reg edit program. I posted how to do it the Tips/Hack thread.

Jeyo Personalizer lets you order them up. But not make diff folders and stuff. Not sure you can do that.

You don't need to do any Reg Edits to change your Start Menu. The Reg Edit is only for changing the order your Start Menu displays items. If you make folders it will arrange them alphabetically. The Windows\Start Menu is where you make the changes. If you are getting an error message then the .lnk files are probably tagged as system or ROM files. If you use your File Explorer and edit the properties of each of these files (basically unchecking the system/hidden/rom boxes) Then you will be able to move/delete them. I'm unsure if the default File Explorer allows this, but Resco Explorer and Smart Explorer allows it. Please see my old thread about this.
