I did some searching but didnt really find an answer, and im sure this is a stupid question but it is driving me nuts. I have a Motorola Razr V3m that i just got a few weeks ago. I have motorola phone tools, but it seems like all i can do is accesS the address book and put music on it, so my question is HOW DO I PUT THE PICTURES FROM MY PHONE ONTO MY COMPUTER?

Why dont you buy a MicroSD card and do it that way ??

To answer your question I am not sure.
I know I can with my V3m from Amp'd. I am sure someone here will be able to answer that for you shortly though.

im new to this stuff but i believe verizon has some software on the phone not allowing you to do this because of VCAST, in order to do this you would have to flash your phone or something, check out the modding forum.

i am not sure if this is right but i believe its what i read

You can't to my knowlege with Verizon. Which is why i'm leaving. They have their software purposely devoloped so you CANNOT do it! the new MOTOKRZR for verizon you can't, but for sprint you can.

Verizon goes to great length to make sure that your bluetooth only works with headsets, and not communicate with other phones. Even if they are verizon as well. If they allow upload from phone to computer, then there is a way for computer to phone (music). they won't allow that. All pics on your cam stay on your cam. The only thing I didn't try however.

Is set up for the mobile web, and see if you can send an email with the pic attachment. OR, you can find someone who has a sprint phone with USB. Text the pic to them, and have them take it off their phone and throw it on a comp.

that verizon for ya.

Dang, i was pretty sure that it was that way, but its still dumb. Thanks for the replies btw. So if i get a microSD card will i be able to put the pics and vids on that and transfer them back and forth with no problem?

the card in the phone is really small. fits into an SD card which then you buy and SD card reader that plugs into comp via USB. Total, you might end up spending about $40. However, I have NEVER had a phone from verizon, nor does my current one have a small card like other providers. My v3m doesnt have one. Do yourself a favor and look at your phone, take the battery out and seeif you have one, I don't, nor do I have a slot for one like my friends (other providers) have a slot.

i dont have the card, but i do have a slot for it.

That's your only route. Expensive, but possible.

Wait, wait, wait. You don't have to get a MicroSD card and you don't necessarily have to flash the firmware. You can just do a couple simple seem edits and MPT will let you transfer pictures and ringtones to your heart's content. Check out http://mark.cdmaforums.com and the Verizon/Motorola section here.
