Hi All,

I am in New York City right now on business and I really would like to buy the p800.

Does anyone know any cell phone shops around here that carries it? My hotel is in Times Square but I am willing to take a subway to anywhere... please let me know!

I saw one the other day at Wireless Warehouse on Madison ave. in between 40th and 41st.

You could take the S train from Times Square to Grand Central and it's a two minute walk from there.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a good deal on a P800 in the city. I would think mphone or expansys on the web will provide you a better deal, overnight. For example, RCS on Madison and 56th has it for $1,299!! I have seen in wireless warehouses for also about the same.

I agree with jeffharris. J&R by cityhall could have it again (they were out of stock 10 days ago), but they want $1200 w/o activation.

If you buy it online you will have it in 2/3 days for at least $400 less, and possibly no tax.

You can then give me the extra money that you would have spent on it as a thank you.

how long are you in the city for?
i might be getting a spare p800 and i was just going to sell it on ebay

Best I've seen it for is ~$800 @ Exist Mobile, which is 25 East 17th Street (17th off Broadway on the northwest side of 17th between broadway & 5th ave).

you can emaill me and i will provide you with someone phone number in seattle and he will sell you one p800 retail version with R1D firmware for $700, and you can pick it up or he can ship it COD, the only think you will have to do is tell him i reffered you to him. good luck.

and please do your self a favor and do not buy any p800 from wireless warehouse or any stores in NY CITY they are rip-off i always go to NY city and i stay at the w hotel in lexington and 49th and i always try to get a new gadget but i end up not getting it because they are very over priced.

Agreed. I'm in NYC and looking to buy but will certainly wind up ordering at the SE website. No store I've been in is even near $649. Most are $800 to over $1,000. Kind of ridiculous.

There is no denying that gadgets in NYC are usually overpriced. However, there is something to be said for the ability to pick up any device on the market at a moment's notice. You pay a little more for that convenience.
