Once i moved from texas, i switched to T-mobile, and used their sidekick. SInce i've had cellphones, i've always had verizon service with LG phones, the sidekick was awful. I ditched my service contract after 10 months, and got hooked up with Verizon again. Since then, i've had the RIM 7250, the Razr, and the Palm 650...I have learned my lesson and tomorrow i'm returning like a prodicale son back to LG and their enV. I never had an issue with any LG phone, and they can really take a beating, the software also runs alot faster, they are just the best overall phones i've ever had.
props

i like LG too. Never had a major problem with them.
Mind you, you say that in the Telus forums, and you start a flame war. They seem to like the crappy razr over any LG phone.

every phone ive ever had has always been LG. with exception to my first phone which was motorola and thats cuz it was a gift.

im an LG person. never been anything but 100% happy with them.

I've always hated lg but thats because I am on the gsm network. As far as gsm goes lg is the worst brand, but you gotta give props to a cdma lg. they are the best. Never seen customers that weren't happy with an lg on verizon. If I ever switch to a cdma carrier, i'll go with an lg.

Whenever I buy a new phone, I usually don't look at anything but LG's. I've played with other phones, but to me, nothing beats a solid LG.

Yeah, it's pretty well known (and stated in this thread) that LG GSM phones suck. They are really good on CDMA carriers.

first cell was a motto hated it second a motto a company owned 3rd cell a lg and my new one a lg i think lg can take a short drop or bump better than motto and has clear sound over a motto

Wish they would bring the flip chocolate to 850 GSM but I guess thats wishful thinking. I never had any complaints about LG other than the keyboards. While the outside are very stylish when I flip it open I'm usually a bit disappointed. I even think the LG Cu500 looks ok when its closed but when you flip it open its . Software wise never had any problems with them.

Lgs and samsungs have the best phones for verizon.

the LG325 is the worst POS ive ever turned on, i think its partially because bell is a useless provider

And How. LG has the worst dealer support of them all. When something goes wrong, the device gets main board swapped without trouble shooting.

All LG phones have a software glitch that causes the phone to shut off when you don't regularily clear out your incoming messages (ie if you directly reply to a message without clearing it out the unit powers off).

LG is aware of this issue but currently has no plans to fix it.

LG 8500 Chocolate has poor soldering around the charge bracket and is currently mass repairing charging brackets in warranty that have broken out of the phone.

The list goes on. I am, however, very pleased to hear that our American companions are having fantastic luck with LG, because here in Canada, it is the exact opposite story.

(Samsung, on the other hand is favouring extremely well, with nought but an echo issue in the SCHA645 ... Samsung for life!)

My mother-in-laws LG actally shocked her about 10 times right in the face and ear. After about a month of fighting with Verizon they took it back. The funny part was about 2 months later she got a letter from LG asking her not to discuss with others what happened. Not sure if they recalled those phones or not, well she is on t-mobile now but plans to switch to Cingular when she makes her move back up to the Carolinas this Summer. Plus she is trying to buy American only products so, I guess it's gonna be Motorola, unless Cingular has some other American Brand phones, no the iphone isn't an option.

I'm on my second LG phone and I've quite liked both of them. Samsung is very good too, and I wouldn't even consider anything other than one of these two.

LG's seem to be some of the best all around phones. I love the abilisty to set 4 alarms!!! And my phone hasa great screen, a decent camera, and amazong sound! <3<3<3

Not sure where you came up with that crazy idea, ive never had that happen, and know many people with LGs and none have had that happen.

Cingular is definately the way to gob but not with a motorola. Do a nokia. Thats the way to go on gsm. Moto is to easily broken and too defective.

Did LG give your mother-in-law anything to keep her quiet? Maybe like an LG Shine or something

Ha! Love it. So true. I'm on my 3rd lg 5450 and I'm on telus. Every once in a while, it will "forget" whether its on digital or analog mode. This causes me to miss all calls or texts till i notice and reboot. Bitpim doesn't like it much and since a firmware upgrade, I cant get games that i've loaded onto it to work without freezing.
And yes.... I'm thinking bout a Motokrzr K1m. Or Samsung M60. Depends which one is locked out less and i can screw with more. Going with bell this time.

LG are cheap rubbish. they are notoriously unreliable. avoid at all costs.

it's a quote taken directly from the official Sony Ericsson Make the Best Handsets book.

LG sucks in GSM, great for CDMA. Except the chocolate. I don't like mine..
