BlackJack Shortcut for BT Headset Setting

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I currently have 3 BT devices paired with with my BJ and the well documented BT shortcomings of the BJ force me to manually switch/set each BT device via the Headset Setting control (Start -> Settings -> Conncections -> Bluetooth -> Headset Setting).
Does anybody know if there is a possibility to create a direct shortcut (like the Admin Settings/Band Select power saving find) to the BT Headset Setting?

Not a whole lot better, but on the home screen, highlight the Cingular/Date/Time bar and click OK. Then RSK. Am I understanding your question correctly?

Sorry if I didn't express myself clearly! The problem I think every BJ owner has with the BT implementation is that there is no automatic switching between paired devices. In my case I have a bluetooth earpiece and 2 Audi bluetooth car systems paired correctly to my BJ. But if I e.g. stop using my earpiece and get into my Audi it will not automatically connect. I have to manually go to Start -> Settings -> Conncections -> Bluetooth -> Headset Setting and set the Audi car device as active. As soon as that is done it connects nicely. The thing is that's a lot of buttons to press! I was hoping someone knows the application file to the Headset Setting control so one could create a start menu shortcut (like the adminsettings and bandselect 3G/Edge power saving tip) and speed dial location to achieve much quicker access to these settings!
Also, what do you mean with RSK?

No worries. Thanks. RSK=Right Soft Key (activates Menu in this case)

Thanks for answering! From the Wireless Manager the RSK only gets you to the BT settings but not the Headset settings.

I ended up buying MacroRecorder (http://inputshow.googlepages.com/macrorecorder.htm) - When you record a macro (as a series of keystrokes) the program saves the macro into a file that can be run from the start menu and, by extension, have a speed dial assigned to it.

I can now switch between bluetooth headsets with a single keystroke!

Damn you got 2 Audi's

Anyways can't you set up different profiles to do this. I think smartphones have up to 8 profiles. The Normal, Outdoors, Silent, Handsfree, etc. Just edit 2 of them that you don't use to sync up with each device seperately. Then you should be able to just change profiles and be good to go.
I'm not positive this will work, but when I used my MPx220 and switched to Headset profile, my phone immediately switched to my BT headset.

That sounds interesting and I will check into that program! Thanks!
I was just hoping to find the right file on the phone for the Headset Setting and create a shortcut and speed dial for quick, easy access.

Yes, Audi's are nice!!
I will look into your idea of changing profiles later today.

There seem to be no idas to create a shortcut to the Headset setting so I am leaning towards spending the $10 for MacoReader. Is it working properly on the Blackjack (in the sense of landscape screens like Q, Dash and BJ)?
