saw this in local sprint store for 99 and on amazon for 40. my real question is has anybody here used it and what they thought of it. if you dont like it what headset do you use i want this thread to be a debate on the best bluetooth headset

I use a Jabra JX-10... It is easily the best headset I've used. As not to sound like an advertisement, you can get them for between 79.99 and 159.99. www.jr.com and have www.msgdigital.com has them pretty cheap and are confirmed to be authentic jabra products.

I wouldn't suggest buying the $40 WEP200 as there is a HUGE number of fakes going around the net. Since Amazon uses third parties for a lot of their "low cost" pricing, I wouldn't trust those.

I have a WEP200 I like it as it is just really small and fairly comfortable for short periods of time, However the headset I use the most would be the moto h700 and h500, I perfer my 700 because of the nice flip boom feature, which allows me to turn it on and turn it off at a flick. I am not the type of bt user that constantly has a headset on.

I have the WEP200 and its a very good headset. I tried the JX-10 and was dissapointed with its sound, it looks great but performed terrible. Not loud and it was very unclear. I did use it with Verizons TERRIBLE BT so maybe that had something to do with it. Same goes for the H700, not very loud at all. I got my WEP200 off Ebay and I got a real one. Just buy from someone that has pictures and a very good rating. If the WEP200 says that it has an ear hook, its a fake, the real ones dont have a ear hook. FYI.

amazon has pretty good product control and they are good with returns but how would you know if it was a fske would it come in a non samsung box

Serial #'s...there's a big difference in digits on the SNs for ones that are real and ones that aren't (the real ones have shorter SNs than the fake ones).

I would say there is about ZERO chance that Amazon is selling bogus Samsung branded products. Samsung could have an army of lawyers on them overnight. The cost of the suit would be trivial compared to the PR disaster that would result.

I would look to other reasons for defective units from Amazon.

I just got the wep200 in at the store I work at and tested it out myself.. Seems pretty comfortable and has very good sound on it.. I'd recommend it !

Personally I've been using the Motorola 605 for a while now and love it !

i bought a fake before i knew it was a fake. for $20, its not the end of the world. the fake one really stinks. sound quality is bad in both directions. after a couple of hours of use, i gave up on it and went back to my old headset.
