Anybody else experience that 8525 stylus is a little stubborn when pulling out? Sometime, I feel like I will end up breaking it.

Mind is the same way. I do have a separate stylus that I use most of the time. I was afraid the built in one would get lose and fall out. Not sure that will happen now.

Trust me that is a good thing. my brother has lost the stylus on his ppc6700 a few times becuase it is so loose fitting. Try using the spare stylus you got with the 8525. THe spare one I got was looser fitting.

I'd like it if it were on top of the device (like the Treo's) rather than on the bottom. Even though it's locked in there pretty good, over time, it will become looser and looser.

The problem is a small rectangle of clear rubber/plastic that is near the opening in a recessed hole. Mine apparently started coming out, and eventually the stylus wouldn't come out unless I used some pliers. The rubber was getting caught between the stylus and the plastic. Once I took out the rubber piece, the stylus would come out freely. It also stays in securely when you put it in all the way.

I use the stylus that came with my 8125 on the 8525. I hate the way you had to put the stylus away, certain angle, screw that.

I did the same thing. The 8125's is a much more sturdy stylus as well. Easy access beats aesthetics this time.

I made the mistake of pulling the stylus out, but not fully, and the device sorta hung off the stylus... and then it fell out... and now it's sorta loose, like it's already worn out... so i try not to use the stylus as much any more...
