I have this set up on a prepaid service with GSM network.
First off the browser is not even available to even to even open.
Some people say change themes and it sometimes brings the browser option up and thers said to use the routing table register. I did all that and I can not do a usb hookup to my computer cause I am at work. What do I do to get this browser to come up s I can open it. The only service it keeps showing is gprs, is that why it wont even pull up the browser?
I can not get involved in a contract and that is why I am using it for prepaid only. My carrier with Dobson cellular says i should be able to use it for GSM Wap browsing but heck I can not even get a browser to show so I can open it. Help is appreciated and where I use it I have never seen a GSM signal. Do I need to sell this one or what?

have you gotten a message saying that "your handheld has been registered with the wireless network."?

You need a BlackBerry Data Plan, without said BlackBerry Data Plan all you'll have is voice and SMS, end of story and no there is no work around. BlackBerry's communicate directly through RIM's secure servers, hence the requirement for a BlackBerry Data Plan. Upon adding a BlackBerry Data Plan to your account the browser service books will be pushed down to your BB.

A missing browser icon indicates a service book issue. Unfortuantely, I don't know of any carriers that offer Blackberry data on prepaid plans. As Finch says, no data on a BB without a Blackberry data plan...

Try using Opera that normally works without a data plan
