Best GSM Smart phone for $300 and under

My friend has an unlocked Treo 650 that he uses on T-Mobile. I don't know why he wants a new phone, but I'm assuming it's because he thinks the 650 is a bit bulky.
So, I'm helping him look for a new smart phone. He doesn't want to change providers, so an unlocked GSM smart phone would be ideal. His price cap is $300. Unfortunately, the Dash isn't a viable option since he wants a touch screen.
Long story short:
- Unlocked GSM Smart phone.
- Touch Screen.
- Removable memory.
- Bluetooth (OBEX and OPP)
- Under $300.
Is it possible? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

He can try to get a tmobile mda (if he's on tmobile) or a cingular 8125

Yeap MDA or 8125 is his best choice right now. I like the 8125 look better than the T-Mobile MDA.
