Razr v3 flashing problems

Hi i just bought a v3 to practice modding and when i flash it with rsd lite 2.7 it goes for a while then stops and says under status "failed flashing process. Phone[0000]. Error verifying..." what am i doing wrong or what is the problem please tell me thanx

what is the current version on your firmware and what version are you trying to flash onto the phone?

well when the phone is in bootloader mode it says

Boot loader
0A.52.
SW version:
R4515_G_08.BD.62R

i dont know if that will tell you what the firmware is and ive tried flashing it with:

AP_Cingular_MODDED_MP_NC.shx

AP_TMOBILE_MODDED_MP.shx

R374_G_0E.0CR_SE8615MBXX41121_flexflash_MOTOX.shx

and

bl_826-828_to_07d0_for_V3_by_Archy.V2.shx

i have tried flashing with all of the above and it either stops in the middle and

appears on the screen of the phone or it says the error veryfying on the rsd lite screen. oh and i am in germany and this phone was bought here in germany if that helps any

My guess - the flash files you are using are not compatible with the boatloader in your phone.

As an example, we see this when trying to flash a v3r with a v3 flash file.

Verify the model number of your phone (v3, v3i, v3x, and v3r ARE technically different and many flash files are not cross compatible) and the find the correct files.

Well, the problem is you do NOT have a V3. R4515 is NOT V3 software; so you can NOT flash V3 MPs or bootloaders (Archy's for example) on the phone you have. You need to try the proper software/bootloaders for your phone. Good luck.

well do u know what it is because i bought it from the store and the box says motorola razr v3. what i have noticed about it that is different is it has a blue M above the screen and it already has video recording unlike the original v3's when they first came out. i know its not the v3x and v3i so what model would this be then and where can i get the proper software for it.

The bootloader makes me suspect it could be a v3r.
