Change DNS on the Blackjack

I am trying to change the DNS on my Blackjack to speed up Inet access. I went into the DNS properties under the GPRS connection but that did not do it. Any one have any ideas?

you have to open gprs then media net then scroll to the bottom and change

I did that but it did not change it. I used opendns.org and use the welcome page to test.
