3125 Battery Cover (Still looking!)

So I'm still looking for the standard battery cover (not the extended). It is unreal as to how it can not be located anywhere...

I figured to give it a couple of months after release...but this is not looking good. I'm starting to lose hope at finding the battery cover.

I've tried HTC and iMate in North America and they have no answers. HTC actually has a cover for the 3125, but they couldn't confirm if it was the extended cover or not (I'm assuming it is).

Needless to say, this sucks.

Where did you find the 3125 cover from HTC?

I went as far as buying a Blackjack for a little more "thinness", but quickly realized that one, the Blackjack is not that much thinner, and two, it is far too wide and does not feel like a phone.

How they labeled it 11.8mm of thickness on that thing, I don't know. Thats like 4mm of difference between the two, and I'm no hardware engineer, but that seems absurdly incorrect.

At any rate, I'm returning the Blackjack. The 3125 feel much better built, even though the video recorder sucks and USB transfer speeds are dismal. Beyond that however, as a phone, it holds up better for me. If I can somehow find the battery cover, I'll be as happy as a clam.

Anyway, the number I called HTC was 1-888-716-3594. I got this through their support.

I just ordered whatever HTC is selling for $20. Will let you know what I get.
Probably the extended one, the one I don't want.

When I called they knew nothing about the differences in the battery covers...did you have any better luck with your rep?
