Okay, I'm convinced that I've got the BETA version of the phone. I'll cut to the chase ... I bought this phone off Ebay, it was "Brand New, Unlocked" ... which is very true, it is brand new and it is also unlocked. However here are a list of the problems i've found.

I live in Canada, this phone was purchased from the United States. My provider is Rogers Wireless.

1. No Bluetooth option available under Settings / Connections / (There should be something called Bluetooth Link here correct to setup my Bluetooth headset that i also got with this phone) ?
2. Unable to send pictures. I've read that this is a common problem for this phone. However i'm not sure if there's something i need to setup like the Browser or what not in order to send them. I had a Motorola V220 phone and I was able to send picture messages without a problem, so I am paying for this service, so that's not the problem.
3. I have one default Ring Tone. ONE ... I don't have a list of a variety of different ones to choose from, nothing, I don't even have an option to even find a list of Ring Tones.
4. I do not have a Games Section at all, no where to be found.
5. I've looked into my EMEI (I think that's what the abbreviation for it is) and the one programmed into the phone, doesn't match the one on the sticker behind the battery .... Will this cause me problems ?

With this number changed, is this indicating that this phone was possibly stolen ?

My text messaging works, my reception is great, the phone is great if you look past all the features that don't exsist or don't work. My sister has the same exact phone, however she didn't purchase hers off Ebay, and it has everything that i'm missing.

I've read about deleting the operating system on the phone and reprogramming it ... I tried doing it but i got an error when trying it. Luckily nothing on my phone was lost, like pictures and stuff.

I've called Motorola about the Bluetooth problem, unaware at that point of all the other missing / none working features on the phone, and the 2 suggestions i got from them was to take the battery out for a while to reset the phone. OR ... To use Master Reset to reset the settings on the phone.

I've done this NUMEROUS times, too many to count, and nothing has worked so far, so i'm in some desperate need of some help with this phone.

If no one is able to help me solve my problems on here, if i was to take it into a Rogers Wireless rep to have them look at it, if they see that the EMEI number is different than the sticker, will they confescate the phone because the chance that it might be stolen ?

If that's the case then i'll just try to fix it on my own, cause I don't want heat being brought on me even though i just bought it off Ebay. i've tried contacting the person i bought this from, and well big surprise he never replies, it's been left in his feedback that he's got the worst communication skills, so that's no big surprise.

Anyways i'm hoping this message hasn't bored you to death, and hopefully you'll be able to help me fix all these problems.

**** OH AND BY THE WAY .... Motorola Phone Tools cannot Setup my phone, says that the phone isn't in the list of phones available, however my MPT is completely up to date ... So ya, this is just one problem after another, rather annoying.

I would just go with flashing you phone with a correct flash. It sounds like the person who sent it to you didn't take good care of the phone.

Okay .... I'll rephrase this ... How do I flash my Motorola V3 Razr Black Edition Cell Phone for Rogers Wireless in Canada ?! ANYONE ?
