hey everyone, im really new to this site, and reading through all the threads, ive seen that you guys really help out a lot which is great!
my problem is that when i go to change my ringtone, the screen with the ringstyles goes away and its just back at the main menu... it is so frustrating because now it doesnt ring at all when anyone calls me and i never know when i am recieving a call. please if anyone has a suggestion, let me know..

Yeah - You can use P2K Tools or P2K Manager and erase both the db files in you audio folder.

new problem, if u can tell by the way im a total n00b. this is really aggravating though that it doesnt ring

anyways i downloaded like 3 different p2k programs, none of which have recognized my phone... can i please get some form of step by step instructions on how to use this software??

sorry if its much to ask, i have no idea... i would just really appreciate it because reading through other posts, i dont understand any of it, or the terms they use cuz like i said.. total n00b right here lol pLEASEE!!

you need to install the p2k programs driver pack for the programs to work

get the p2k drivers and install them first. they have one that auto installs but i cannot remember where i found it.

i did all of that, and i even downgraded my program on the phone to 7.0E or something and when i open p2k tools it says that im not connected... im really so frustrated with this, i hate it NOT ringing... for an expensive phone its quite the piece of junk.... can someone PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF CHRiST.... tell me what to do now??

well everyone i forgot to mention that i did figure out how to use it finally, however i still would like to know what causes that because it happened again... it happens when i send ringtones to someone via bluetooth. because my mom just got the v3t for christmas and i wanted to send her a few songs; which i did, and then it happened to me again where i couldnt change my ring details
i mean now that i know how to, its a two-minute fix... but still i want to know why it happens if anyone has any ideas.... thanks for all the help by the way

come on - i'm not that stupid~!! but thanks for the vote of confidence. you can move them or copy them - moving obviously would take them off his ringtone list, possibly causing the problem. so the follow up question to him might also be "do the ringtones still appear in your list?"

yes they do. i dont click move... i found my moms phone because it was 'discoverable' and then i chose a song and sent it to her and it happened again... i mean nopw that i know how its a simple fix, but it is quite annoying when it happens

you should go to media>sounds>toggle to the one you want>press menu>press copy>the other phone should come up as a choice or pair them and transfer
