3G Call quality on the BlackJack

Hi all,

For those of you in 3G service areas, when the Blackjack is in 3G mode, is the call quality any better than it is in GSM mode? Also, since 3G/HSDPA is technically CDMA, is the annoying buzzing-noise radio interference heard in other electronics (typical of most GSM phones) gone? I just switched over from Verizon and I have to admit the all the buzzing RFI noise heard in my home and car stereo now caused by the Blackjack (GSM) is kinda lame. 3G isn't up and running in my area as of yet.

No buzzing in 3G. Same call quality(excellent) in GSM or WCDMA.

I have been really enjoying 3G a lot. the sound is great and the data transfer with web pages has really been amazing in my eyes.

I have a question about this topic...I have a BlackJack phone and it causes terrible interference on my television. Some TVs more than others, but the noise is a low pitched "modem-sounding" noise.

Is that expected? I am new to GSM completely. Could this be caused by a bad phone? I need to act on this quickly, since I bought it like 3 weeks ago!

Thanks in advance...Michael

If your operating on 850mhz GSM, it's completely normal.
