Blackjack: Alarms

Overall, I think the alarm functionality on the blackjack is nice, being able to specify the days and not having to reset each day. It would be even better if it would work. Honestly, my alarms don't work half the time. Good thing I had set my alarm clock as well or I would have missed work.
Anyone having similar issues? Should I return the phone for a new one? Will they give me a new one or are they going to want to send it off for repair? I've had it less than one month.

Only thing I noticed when I first got the Blackjack and called myself setting the alarm to wake me up for work.It didn't work....it worked for me only after I left the phone on,while being charged and the alarm came on.My Nokia phones even when off they would turn themselves on when the alarm was set.
I might be missing something.....has anyone had the Blackjack turned off and the it turned itself on with the alarm?????
