Connectivity challenge

Recently got an 8700e (verizon) and use BES(BIS?) to get corporate mail from exchange/ip to the world.
Overnight, I seem to have lost the ability to access certain IP functions:
Verichat won't connect/login
Corporate IM won't connect
Operamini won't find any sites (but the default BB browser works fine)
Email still pushes/sends from all accounts fine.
When I go to www.whatismyipaddress.com, it doesn't show a corporate ip address as the proxy, but a RIM/Blackberry.net one.
Power down/pulling the battery has no effect
Does anyone have any ideas or a direction to start looking in?

If you are connected to a BES there could be a policy that restricts access to those items. Maybe they recently set a policy.
Check with the BES admin (IT Dept) first.

Turned out to be some type of failure with MDS on the BES side.
