my 8525 arrives in the mail either today or tomorrow!
ive had some trouble finding str8 forward answers to a few of my questions so i decided to just ask.

*while on WIFI, will i b able to b on AIM or any other instant messaging program using the wifi and not have to have a dataplan?

*can u browse full webpages on WIFI or only wap sites if im using my network and not cingulars?

*also, wut cingular plan addition is suggested/required for unlimited internet and also provides me with text messaging?
*ive read about the SmartPhone Connect which is like 35
*then theres Unlimited internet and 200 txt msgs for 19.99
*and Unlimited internet and 1000 txt msgs for 29.99
not sure whats necessary and/or required for internet on these phones cus i rather not pay more than i need to

I have used MSN Messenger over WiFi so AIM should be the same.
You can browse full website on WiFi. Some site like google and yahoo will detect your phone as a PDA and redirect you to the wap sites. You can do a RegEdit to change your phone. This will make the sites think your on a regular PC. You can also use Opera which has an option to switch your phone from PPC to PC (and vice versa) so that you can use either type of site.
I use MediaMax200 on my 8525. Unlimited internet and 200 messages for 19.99.

awesome TriAxis, appreciate it, yea ill probably use Opera to make things easier, imma order my 2 GB microSD card tonight and should receive it in the next few days, cant wait to start doing things

ne suggestions one wut i should customize first?
or any suggestions in owning this phone period?

i got it! shortly after i replied in this thread, it was droppd off by FedEx.

ive connected to my computer network
and im browsin the internet, if im connected to the wireless here, is it what internet explorer is accessing for browsing? cus i dont hae a dataplan and dont want to b charged just yet til i get it
