Cingular Pearl Email Signature - Can you change it?

i'm afraid this is going to be a stupid question, but i can't seem to change my email signature on my Cingular Pearl. i could change it with my Sprint 8703e. when i go into BIS to edit my gmail profile, it shows boxes where i can change the name, but the signature box seems to be locked. thoughts? thanks.

Are you going into the BIS from the device or computer? Device doesn't let you change signature, computer should.

I'm not sure how cingular works the stuff, but for my Alltel blackberry I visit alltel.blackberry.com to log in and change the signature. This is for my pop type email. I think the PC based tool will edit redirector stuff, and I can't comment on a true blackberry enterprise server setup.

Changing your .sig with BES is done right on your phone from your messages inbox ... menu key/options/email settings.
