What I want to know is what is the maximum bitrate for the MPEG1 codec and WMV (or ASF) ? Prefferably WMV bitrate. Because anything over 1,000 just gives me a slideshow.

Also I've been trying to find the "Voxware Metasound" codec because some WMV files I have use this sound codec, and I want to find a way to play these files because the video plays but not the audio...in the properties under Windows Media Player 10, ironically the audio codec shows up as Voxware Metasound.

Any ideas guys?
