Has anyone updated their o/s to BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.1.0.529 (Multilanguage)

What's the real difference besides I guess adding multilanguage support?

I did. It has fixed many bugs that some knew about and others that were not known about. Also the version seem to have a cleare call quality and better eceptio. Another is that for some BT headsets at times used to disconect and reconect and mine was one of those. so far it has not disconected at all. I would say go for it. As to PTT that will be with OS 4.2 and may be it will come out soon.

I just updated my blackberry's software and I have to say I'm enjoying it so far, I like to new Dimension Today theme, as far as call quality, I haven't quite seen a difference or actually even thought about it.. after reading this and your post about the call quality being a bit clear I feel like as if it has been better lately... but then again it could be just my mind playing games on me.

As for the 4.2 o/s lets hope it actually does come available for the 8700 series.

I also found out that the speaker phone is much better. Oh yes, i did try the 4.2 and took it off. Dont try it as it will take you a good couple hours to bring it back to life.

Where did you find a copy of 4.2 for your 8700? Also what did you not like about it?

I got it from a person on another forum, however, like I said it was buggy and had some issues with it including the power adn 2 others had certain issues too that were similar and all reverted back. There are some display issues where things also did not display right plus more and that included not being able to bring my media browser despite trying every thing.
