3G Service Interrupts Voice Service?

I woke up to find that 3g service went up in my house. However, I was not able to make any voice call. I called Cingular but they could not figure what is going on. Once I went into an area with EDGE service, I was able to make voice call without a hitch. Anybody else experiencing the same situation?

i am having the same problem. CS said they are fixing the problem and will be working by late today, meanwhile i just disable the USTM and switch to GSM so i can make and receive call. i live in southern CA
