Every year the company does this...We stay open an extra hour at night and NO ONE comes in...You would think all the suits would be looking at pie charts or graphs or whatever the hell it IS they do and see when business is being done. Yet they continue to waste money every year with this...I can understand for stores inside malls etc but our store is ALWAYS dead the last extra hour. And I know it's not just us because I've gotten calls from other reps at area stores and they're a graveyard too!

Oh well sorry for the rant, just seeing if anyone else feels the same.

i feel your pain. My rant is this. Yesterday i worked 2:30p to 11:30p (i am w vzw) and have to work circuit city hours. Well that leaves realistically 5 hours out of my 9 hour shift where i can sell, once 7:30 hits it is dead. Yesterday all the reps got adds in the morning and all i got was a bunch of accessory sales. Well after working till 11:30p last night i am opening today and had to be here at 7:00a. Only customers so far are nintendo wii freaks (i am one of them for the record and love the wii) waiting only to find out they didnt have any hahahahahahah. And the last rant is that it is "holiday" hours. For crying out loud say christmas!

^^ Yeah because everyone celebrates Christmas.......... and yes Holiday Hours do suck, but my Holiday Hours only include opening on a Sunday 11-6... I guess I got it easy

Oh we are now open to 9 instead of 7, and start at 8 instead of 9. and yeah 8-9.. we call is the hour of darkness... nothing... and these ten, twelve, thirteen hour days suck ***!!!!

store hours 9AM TO 9 PM
sunday 11-8
I have a 40 minute drive each way and it takes 30+ minutes to close the store.
last night I left @940 arrived home at near eleven b/c I had to get dinner then was awake at 6 am so I could be back here by 9 am to open.
the worst part is that I am ALONE from 5pm till 9 pm and after 4 NOBODY comes in, in fact the entire plaza where our store is is closed as are all the other biz. around us! it sucks so freaking bad
for some strange reason the last couple nights we have ppl coming in asking if we sell TMO, does the Huge oarnge lit up cingular Jack not give them and idea?

thank allah for orb and streaming radio or I would simply fall asleep!

Because some ******* will cry about it and it would give Mel Gibson more things to ramble about when hes drunk after a long night at the Moonshadow. It's safer to just call it "holiday". For now anyway.
