Syncing with PEARL and 8525

I got a MAC and installed parallels with windows xp. Installed all the phones proprietary software to sync both fones however, the USB connections are not connecting. My computer does not recognize the fones connected. they are plugged in and programs running and still no sync.
Anyone have this issue that got a mac?
Can someone help?!
