Is there a way to play music from KRZR on my home stereo? Thanks for the help.

Like ANY other electronic device - a cable between the phone's headphone out and the stereo's AUX input jacks.

If the KRZR has stereo bluetooth profile, just purchase a BT receiver, ~usd$50, for the stereo and go cool wireless.

Hello, thanks for the help. It has BT stereo, but I'm having trouble finding one of these bluetooth receivers. Could you tell me where I might find one?

Thanks!!

Do you have a K1M or a K1? You said that A2DP was an option, so I'm guessing its a K1...

You can skip BT and just get the adapter for 3.5mm jacks. The motorola OE one is the great, and can be obtained from many sites including the Cingualr web page. A simple cable with a 3.5mm connector on one end, RCA on the other, will connect you just fine.

This is not the same as the one that comes with some k1 units; that's a 2.5mm jack.

If you want to get complicated and use A2DP I think Motorola makes a unit for streaming Audio via BT, right here:

The Moto unit is nicer.

But if yer on a budget, check out the people who makes car accessories, name starts like SCHO... something. I can't guaranteed that they will paired up correctly since I don't have one, so do your research ahead of purchasing.

Thanks for all of the help. I have a K1m and the instruction book says that it can stream music over BT, but I'd rather just find some sort of adaptor. The K1m doesn't have a 3.5mm or 2.5 mm jack. Is there something I can buy that will plug into the mini usb port?

You arn't actually reading the responses, are you? It's ok.. you can tell us the truth.

I already answered that question.

That's why I keep it under 3 lines, mo' than that u lose them

I just see where you said I can get an adapter for the 2.5/3.5mm jack. My K1M doesn't have this type of jack. Am I missing something here? I'm looking for an adapter will plug into my mini usb and then into the rca on my stereo. Thanks.

dude, come on. There is an adapter that goes from the EMU ( mini usb) to 2.5, 3.5mm. It's as simple as that.

I dunn think there is USB-RCA, but yer welcome to keep searching.

What we're suggesting u to do is, go USB-3.5mm-RCA. So u will have 2 cable segments, not gonna kill ya right?

There is no product that I am aware of for that, which is why the 3.5mm adapter piece is so useful.

I HAVE tried using a USB cable from my phone to the USB port on my stereo system. Even with the phone is USB/Memory Card mode it will not read through it or play (anticipating that question at some point).

Okay, I got it. Thanks for the help.
