HELP! I'm trying to enable my V710 to accept multimedia content in mobile Phone Tools. I understand that Verizon disabled this as well as many other features. I've been all over looking for solutions, there is a lot of conflicting information out there. Here is what I have done so far:
I've installed the Motorola Driver Installer, which has helped clean off drivers. Depending upon the program which is running, in my Device Manager, I show the following devices:
-Accessories Interface
-Communications Class Control Interface
-Communications Class Data Interface
-Datalogging MCU Interface
-Test Command Interface
When Mobile Phone Tools is running it appears in the Device Manager as a USB modem. I have not seen any entries under Sound as a USB Audio Device as some folks have said.
Some online say I need to flash my phone using a hacked flash, others say it would be better to do SEEM edits myself. I have downloaded P2KMan, and it says it connects to the phone, but if I attempt to Update the File List I get the message "FileList entry size invalid". I have yet to find a SEEM program that is able to get the SEEMS out of the phone.
I have tried P2KCommander and it is able to get online with the phone and list the files in the phone.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to easily get multimedia on my phone?

If you have the V710 and not the E815 be sure to use the right seem. If you got as far as I did before you ran into trouble, what you want is p2kseem SD version.
