My friend sent me 2 messages, one today and the other one yesterday.(he also has t-mobile) I never received any of them. Then I try with another phone (nextel) and it still doesnt work. When i send text messages they could receive them but i cant. Is it just the network?

SMS issues need to be taken up with your carrier as there's nothing to se on your Blackberry. A battery pull might help.
If you're messaging with other Blackberry users, then get their PIN's and send them PIN messages instead. PIN's feature delivery confirmation and read receipt.

I actually have the same problem and I'm with Cingular. Sometimes I get my SMS messages and sometimes I don't. And, when I do, none of my SMS messages stay in my inbox. I just sent a SMS message to my Blackberry Pearl from my work phone and it did not come through. I can send and people can receive, but I can't receive replies back.
HELP! I can't live without text messaging!
