So I found out that I can get cingular's premier discount. On their website, I configured:

* Nation 450 w/Rollover
* MEdia Max 200 Bundle

= 53.98 / month

Seems like an awesome deal, but am wondering if anyone else has the MEdia bundle with the Blackjack, and if it will work. If so, im on!

I can configure it, and check out, I just want to make sure im not going to get screwed out of the plan

So you are getting about 10% discount on your bill? Cuz I have the same plan with you without d/c and currently paying about $59.98 a month.

On new activations, Premiere gives you a discount on your data plan. But I have never found a way to get that data plan discount when you add the data plan to your existing account.
For example the $40 PDA plan is like $36.xx.
Then there's the discount on your voice plan which depends on your particular company discount.

To the OP. Media Max totally works on the Blackjack. Go for it.

ah, i noticed that with the MEdia max, there is no discount on the phone itself. I may have to try in store. I'd rather not pay $250 for a phone

....but i would

Wirelessly posted (SAMSUNG-SGH-I607/I607FG1 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows CE; Smartphone; 320x240) UP.Link/6.3.0.0.0)

You can get the discount now and then order a back-up phone (like a RAZR) next week and add the MediaMax with it. The MediaMax will overide the previous data plan on your account. That's what I did so now I have a BJ with the MediaMax200 plus a good back-up phone.
Caution: With our Premiere deal we can upgrade as often as we want so this may not work fo you.

it seems like the data and media max plans are of different "types" as ones a data plan, and the other is an "add-on". if it works, then it works, but if not i foresee being charged for both.
