How long do you think it will take for a price drop (maybe at least $299/2yr) on the 8525?

Maybe when the new treo comes out and steals some thunder from the 8525.

I got mine for $200+tax out the door with a new 2yr contract at a Cingular location. I do not see why you wouldn't be able to get it around that price.

Yea, it probebly will be awhile.

Try sites like letstalk, amazon, and wirefly. they have great deals on phones! A couple weeks back when the 8525 came out I saw it on one of those sites for 299.99, but it might of dropped.

Its worth checking out.

Try 6 months...it's $450 with a 2 year contract and these phones are selling like hotcakes.

I got my 8525 for $299 with a 1 year contract...but it was a long trip, but worth it.
