I am getting a 680 as one of my sons Christmas presents (big text user, and AIM user) and I would like to get an appropriate text/data plan. He does not need the PDA connect plan, and I have been looking at the Media Works plan (1000 texts, 5MB of data), will they allow this to work on a Treo, either that or one of the MediaMaxx plans?
Also can anyone recommend a good AIM client for the Treo (if it uses text messaging I will just keep his messaging extreme package, but if there is one that uses data I would prefer that). With one that uses data how much data should I expect it to use?
