LG VX8500 transferring error

my vx8500 wont transfer anything into it. i have previously transfered over 2 music files, 2 ringtones, and several wallpapers with success using bitpim. now when i try to send a music file, i get an error. subsequently, i tried syncing through winamp, but that failed, and winamp crashes each time. when i try to send a picture over, i dont get an error message, but the pictures do not appear on my phone, nor does bitpim become busy with the transfer process. almost all the time, the phone restarts too. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

what option did u use in bitpim to connect with your phone?
