1) connect your phone to computer using the included usb cable
2) you'll see it as a removable drive under my computer
3) double click on the drive
4) click on tools --> folder options --> view --> "show hidden files and folders" --> OK
5) now you'll see a folder called "ringtones"
6) upload mp3s to ringtone folder (drag-and-drop)
7) disconnect phone
8) on your phone: menu --> settings --> profile --> general --> personalise --> ringtone --> mp3 --> select the one you uploaded
9) enjoy your mp3 ringtone!

No it cant. If u have the usb cable use bitpim. It works great on the chocolate.

I just bought the LG Chocolate and I have the USB cable and am using BitPim..I'm familiar with the software for I have used it on previous phones but for some reason, whenever I send a ringtone to the phone and then go to My Ringtones, my phone restarts itself and my new ringtone is not there. I've tryed everything to my knowledge. Please somebody help.
