Hello all.

I got the 5135 flip phone and am really impressesd with its reception.

I ordered the data cable from Kyocera and recieved it with short delay.

Touble was, after multiple installations on different machines with differing OS's...the cable still didn't allow synch with my computer.

I called tech support (who were very professional and helpful) and they worked through the problem with me, settling on the conclusion that I had a bad cable.

Customer support (equally professional and helpful) is sending me a new cable. I'll try it out shortly.

The question for you all: I'm curoius, has anyone had a similar problem?

Please share your experiences.

Thanks

Monza

hi , I'm in montreal too, brought the data cable (we have 3 Kyocera 2255) and got a copy of Snapsynch from Futuredial in the usa, it worked 1st try and allowed me to make an individual phone list for each user that they could update from MS Outlook. Trouble is that now the sioftware won't read the phones anymore , I have current drivers, the cable is seen by the PC etc etc, but it won't friggin work grrrrr
If I could fix the current problem I'd reccomend this software for your 5135 ....fialing this what does anyone else use
