What is this file? My Device\_Mem_Temp_.tmp?
It's 4.3 Megs, and seems to be a temp file (big surprise). I deleted it once, but it returned, like a herpes outbreak.
Anyone know what and why and if needed?

My guess is that it's a paging file and should not be disturbed.

well, I have deleted it before and seen no ill-effects...but it just popped back up after ~1-2 weeks of having it deleted....
