Switching from oldd AT&T to cingular

I'm on the old AT&T with unlimited calling for $99.99, Cingular has been trying to push and coerce me to switch to Cingular now they're ready to give me the BJ with holder & bluetooth headset for free.

I'm wondering would it pay for me to just outright buy the BJ would my sim card work in the BJ?

It would have to be unlocked but yeah it would work. They go for around $400 on Ebay.

I have a blackjack, and am an old ATT Blue sub...circa 2002.

I got the blackjack, and did not have to unlock. Just put the sim in the phone, and you should be good (others have found this also).

3g also works if you use data.

I am on a great plan also, and do not want to convert over.

Do a search - I sent an earlier post on the board on how to configure the settings to get 3g internet on the BJ.
