Has any one been able to extend the video recorder on the Jet KX18? I have bitpim mpt. Thanks for any help!

it would take a serious firmware hack to make this work. nothing bitpim or mpt could do.
bitpim-->contacts and stuff like that

mpt--> from the company that crippled the phone in the first place...

Kmpt took care of it. Extended to 255min.

What's Kmpt?? could an amature do it? that's pretty much what i am and i'd like to do that since this whols 15 second crap suck's..

Sorry it QPST I used.

1. Down load QPST.
2.Set Phone in COM mode and hook to computer.
3 Go to where you downloaded QPST and open Kyocera Wireless PST
4. (this is how mine is) Open bin folder
5. Open QctSConfig.exe
6. Now find your phone as a com port. If it is not listed start adding ports till it shows up as something like
Com 7 Enabled Com7 Jade(3725369D)
To add a Com Port Click ADD COM and just add #'s till it shows up.
7. Once your phone is in the list highlight it and click START CLIENTS at the top.
8. In the drop down box select SERVICE PROGRAM
9. A new box will pop up with your phone # and such Click OK.
10. Now in the next box at the very top select PHONE and READ FROM PHONE
it will open a new small box will open (ENTER SERVICE PROGRAMMING) dont change anything hit OK.
11. Now it is loading all the settings on your phone. Go to DISPLAY at the bottom you will see VIDEO LENGTH I changed mine to 255.
12. Next click WRITE CHANGES after a few sec. the phone will shut off. unplug and turn back on.

I typed this kinda quick so if you have any questions just ask.

I have also trid to enable the games but ther are none hidden on the phone like the KX5's.

Just to protect myself if you choose to do this and you mess up its not my fault if you brick your phone. I have done mine and it works perfect.
