when ur holding the down button on the D-Pad navigating thru the contacts list, after a few contacts itll scroll the alphabet to get to the contact letter quicker...

well i may stupid and/or a noob but say im going to M, once its there and i let go or click ok or the middle button, it just ignores it and goes back to where it stoppd scrolling last.

please help, this is annoying, i dun want to have to popup keyboard or letter recognizer to get to a contact

Works for me too the way it should (jumps to the letter I stop in; and beeps audibly too). Try rebooting the BJ and if that doesn't work then get it exchanged if it's still 30 days. If not...call Cingular? GL!
