You can do this on a CDS-60 desk stand, or the type of chargers that come with K790

When you connect your W810i, press Phone Mode. Now it is charging and you can play songs! When you are in File Transfer Mode, you are accessing your memory stick, thus your phone cannot access the memory stick.

P.S. You are not talking about the FastPort->3.5mm mod, are you?

i was trying to charge my phone and play music from the fastport at the same time(connect to external speakers)

I remember seeing a post that said you could charge your phone and play music at the same time. I think the charger had a pass-through or piggy back port so you could plug the charger in then plug the audio adapter into the back of the charger adapter... The one I heard about was for a wall charger but is there one for a car charger?

I want to charge my phone and play music while riding my Harley! I know the phone has decent battery life but all day riding I think will kill the battery.
