new to the forum
I have a RZR V3B ( BT (in the UK) on Fusion) It's basically a slightly different phone allowing users to access their broad band Hub whilst at home and get cheaper calls.
I Have a few problems and I am hoping the guru's may be able to help.
I firstly want to unbrand it completely from BT (UK phone provider) as they have locked down a lot of the menus etc, and also as i am intending to move over to Vodafone with this phone.

I have backed up, Downgraded the bootloader ( scotty prog) and have tried just about every monster pack i can find on the net which has been about two days worth of flashing using RDS lite. Some packs work others just brick the phone and i reset the whole system with my back up.

The monster pack I DO get to work, give me Bluetooth issues. I intended to connect to my GPS Satnav system for updates to traffic flows.
I can bind it to the phone once, then after that i try to connect and it wont via Bluetooth. I make it discoverable again, only to get a box saying blue tooth module not inserted or something.
The phone can connect to Network with no issues.

So, I have a few questions.

1. Can I use a RAZR V3i, download the stuff from that, and punch it into the V3b? ( i made the connections via Bluetooth, and wireless GPRS for my satnav)

2. Is there actually a monster pack that I can successfully use on this model? that will work at all with no issues?

3. If 1. Above is possible, do I have to downgrade the bootloader as this is problematic, giving me critical errors etc when trying to use flashbackup and Scottys downgrader. Is there a different breed of software needed to connect and manipulate the V3i?

4. again referring to 1. if it is possible. do i have to convert the pack from the V3i to a .shx file somehow or can i just use the .bin file from a flash backup and load that on to the V3b? if so how?

over the past few days i have become quite conversant with files, seems flashing etc. The issue is, i don't mind bricking the V3B , but my wife would kick my fat arse into next week if i wreck her V3i

Are any of the software packs etc compatible from 3i to 3b?

Lots of questions I know and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to scan through and answer them
