Im trying to backup my L7 but it wont work.. whats the deal?

Alright, so this is what happened..

I installed the flash file into my L7.. this file is named..

"R4513_G_08.B7_DER_RB_PDS017_LP0003_DRM0101_GSTROYL MSTARLA18C.shx"

.. before doing this, I have backed up the L7 using the Flash&Backup. Now after I finished installing that downloaded flash file, I decided I want to switch back and basically, I went to the Flash&Backup screen and I tried to restore my stuff.. after everything was "successful", it turns out to be the same.. where is my old stuff? Have I lost it forever? What can I do?

i don't know which version you used, but start flashbackup, click on set up and see where the backups were saved, then make sure you are restoring from that folder. as an aside, many people report difficulty using flashbackup to restore.

he used an unregistered FB3 so when ha flashed his backup, the CG2 from that DER MP remained.

Alright, basically, I lost everything.. but I was able to get the guy from the hacktheL7 website (pacificamark) to send me his backup.. and I have everything back (or at least some stuff..)

Anyway.. no need to reply anymore thank you =]
